I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH

I wanted to send a special note of thanks to the Buckingham Foundation for all that you’re doing for medical personnel during COVID-19.

I know this time has been trying for everyone and no one has been unaffected by COVID. I can’t thank you and the Buckingham Foundation enough for what you’ve done for my family. I’ve already been a big fan of the Alexander as it’s my favorite downtown hotel and conference center but you’ll forever hold a special place in my heart.

THIS IS THE STRENGTH OF OUR COMMUNITY

I am writing to you to express my greatest gratitude and thanks to Buckingham Foundation and Alexander Hotel for the kindness and generosity it showed me this weekend. I needed somewhere safe and quiet that I could rest and sleep in between shifts. I called the Alexander Hotel and was greeted with sincerity. I was checked in promptly and was also given a free parking pass in the garage next to the hotel. The hotel receptionist was friendly and cordial. He even walked me to my car to retrieve something I had forgotten to get out the first time. The room was quiet and I was able to get some rest that I needed.
I cannot tell you how appreciative I am. In our country's worst times, the Alexander Hotel and Buckingham Foundation came together to support me so that I could better do my part to care for the people of Indianapolis. This is the strength of our community. This is hope that it will get better.
From the bottom of my heart, I say thank you.

THE UTMOST HEARTFELT THANK YOU

I am writing you to express the utmost heartfelt thank you to you, your hotel, staff and all associated with The Alexander.

I want to tell you that when I was allowed to stay at your hotel, the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders. We, as first responders, truly worry a lot about our work and the public we serve. Your gesture to us is just not measurable in words. No words can give you, your company, and your staff the thanks you deserve for helping me and others like me.

WE FEEL SUPPORTED

I felt compelled to tell you how thankful I am to stay at this amazing hotel.

After working a 12 hour shift I come to this "temporarily home", shower, launder my clothes, sanitize all my tools for work, and sleep. Because of you and your hotel, I am able to get more sleep than I would be able to at home. Normally, I would drive home which is about 40 minutes away.

This is my first time at your hotel and it's beautiful. Not only is the building a site but the staff I have come in contact with are polite, professional, and a pleasure to be around. I believe Sarah checked me in and she took the time to explain parking and the entry doors twice to me as I was already overwhelmed and fatigued. I have spoke to Andrew over the phone and he is so polite. I met Darren in the hallway who was genuine and kind.

People and establishments like yours push us to keep going. It gives up hope that we will get through this. It encourages us because we feel supported. You are helping us safe lives by helping take care of us. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
